They also share many cultural aspects among the many different islands including religion, language, beliefs, traditions and climate. The second largest archipelago in the world is the Philippines. The Pacific Ocean contains the Philippines. There are over 7,000 islands associated and owned by the Philippines.
These islands are considered to be part of the Philippines. Including all of the islands, the Philippines is about a few hundred thousand square kilometers. Quezon City is the largest city, but Manila is the popular capital city. Most people on the Philippines’ mainland and islands is Filipino, but some people also speak English. There are many different ethnic groups located in the Philippines.
