The Himalayans Mountain range is a group of mountains located between China and India. There are actually many mountains that are part of this chain. One, in particular, is Mount Everest which can be easily seen since it towers above the other mountains. There are two other mountain ranges that are nearby. They are the Karakoram and the Hindu Kush ranges.
The mountains are actually located in more than two countries. Five countries have parts of the Himalayans lying in their country. These include Nepal, Bhutan, and Pakistan too. India and Nepal have most of the Himalayans in their countries. This is actually a mountain range that more recently was created compared to the other ranges about several million years ago.
