It is notorious for its strong winds and largest waves on Earth, it does not converge in a landmass but directly merges into the other oceans – the Atlantic, Pacific and the Indian Oceans, icebergs can form at any time of the year in the Antarctic Ocean, a large part of the Antarctic Ocean is still untouched by man, and its greatest depth is 7,236 meters which is located at the southern end of the South Sandwich Trench.
