Africa has 53 nations and these are some of the nations in terms of area: Algeria with 2,381,740 square kilometers, Democratic Republic of the Congo with 2,344,858 square kilometers, Sudan with 1,861,484 square kilometers, Libya with 1,759,540 square kilometers, Chad with 1,284,000 square kilometers, Niger with 1,267,000 square kilometers, Angola with 1,246,700 square kilometers, Mali with 1,240,192 square kilometers, South Africa with 1,221,037 square kilometers, Ethiopia with 1,104,300 square kilometers, Mauritania with 1,030,700 square kilometers.
