Iran is located in the Middle East. Iran also has a problem with Islamic extremists trying to push their idea of freedom and a perfect society on the world. These factions often consider America to be the bane of the world, as well as any other Western country that goes against any of their ideas.
These are the loudest voices of the Islamic factions, but are not the majority of the ones that are known in the west. They speak Persian in Iran, instead of Arabic or Hebrew - two of the more common languages associated with the Middle East. One of the oldest civilizations started here, so there’s a rich history to explore in Iran, despite what the world may say.
