What island chain forms the eastern boundary of the Caribbean Sea?

The Lesser Antilles is the island chain forming the eastern boundary of the Caribbean Sea. It has a total area of 14,364 square kilometers and a population of more than 3 million people. The Lesser Antilles is divided into three groups from south north to south: 1) The Windward Islands have an area of 2,099 square kilometers and with a population of more than 400 thousand people.

Dominica, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada are all part of the Windward Islands. 2) The Leeward Islands which are comprised of US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, Saba, Saint Kitts, Antigua and Montserrat, to name a few and 3) The Leeward Antilles which are comprised of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao, to name a few.
