The name of the southernmost tip of Greenland is Cape Farewell. Greenland is the world’s largest island and is an autonomous dependent territory of the Kingdom of Denmark. It is located between the North Atlantic Ocean and the Arctic Ocean with an area of 2,166,086 square kilometers and a total population of more than 56 thousand people.
There are other smaller islands in Greenland such as the following: Akilia, Aluk Island, Carey Islands, Danmark Island, Disko Island, Dranklin Island, Harvard Islands, Illorsuit Island, Kitak, Kulusuk Island, Meteorite Island, Qiianarteq, Ruin Island, Saunders Island, Tobias Island, Uunartoq Island and Wolstenholme Island. Cape Farewell, on the other hand, is not an island but a headland of Egger Island and is considered to be one of the most important landmarks of Greenland.
