Brisbane Ranges National Park is the name of the national park in Victoria that sounds like it should be in another state. According to several sources, the Brisbane Ranges were formed when the land lying to its west was uplifted when a line of weakness developed about a million years ago. Established on August 15, 1973, Brisbane Ranges National Park is located in Barwon South West region of Victoria, Australia which covers an area of 77.

The park has 619 species of vegetation such as wildflowers, 180 species of animals such as koalas, owls and peregrine falcons, a lot of walking tracks such as the walk through Anakie George and other several attractions such as the Wadawurrung walk and the Ted Errey Nature Circuit.
