Sacramento is the capital of California. Two rivers run through Sacramento and they are the American River and the Sacramento River. Sacramento has almost half a million people living in it. Sacramento has flood plains which are controlled. Sacramento’s climate contains hot summers known for having wildfires since it is so dry there. In the winter, the city sees precipitation in the form of rain and they really don’t see much snow fall there. There is much ethnic and racial diversity in Sacramento.
Sacramento’s economy includes health care systems and school systems as their main businesses that employ the most people. Historic building still line the streets in Sacramento including Sutter’s Fort and Lady Adams Building. Many museums and other cultural arts centers are established in Sacramento including the Crocker Art Museum.
