Flow resources are those that have to be used when they happen. They will replenish, but people do not have control over when they can be used. Many types of flow resources include those created by the weather. Examples of flow resources include sunlight and wind. Sunlight occurs when the sun is out.
People do not have control over when the sun will come out. They may be able to predict when it will come out, but they can’t use this resource at night. Wind is the same as it has to be used when the weather is windy, however, wind is probably even less predictable than sunlight. People use sunlight for solar energy and wind to generate power electricity.
