The Grand Canyon is the famous landform found in Arizona. It is very popular and many people take trips to the Grand Canyon for vacations where they hike, ride horses and raft down the Colorado River. Temperatures reach high degrees in the Grand Canyon. Some people have gotten lost in the canyon due to the sides hiding parts of the canyon.
It is believed that the Grand Canyon was created by a destructive meteor. There are many levels of elevation in the Grand Canyon and therefore will have different weather patterns as a result. There are some sand storms in the canyon. Very few animals actually live in the Grand Canyon except for some rodents and bats. The Grand Canyon become famous in the 1900s.
