When it first began, Toyota was a small company which was named after its owner whose last name was Toyoda. The change in spelling of his name evolved over time. Now, the company has grown to include hundreds of thousands of workers and is considered to be among the top ten largest companies in the world. In Japan, the company is located in an area called Toyota near Aichi, Japan. Its full name is the Toyota Motor Corporation.
