The two farthest north and south points on the globe are the North Pole and the South Pole. Although they both can be found at the ends of the Earth, they differ in so many ways. For example, each of their temperature is different from each other. The North Pole or the Arctic is cold, but not too cold because it is composed of huge ice covered ocean which is surrounded by land while the South Pole or the Antarctic is very cold since it is a landmass which is surrounded by ocean.
The North Pole has an average temperature of 32 degrees Fahrenheit during summer and negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit during winter, while South Pole has an average temperature of negative 18 degrees Fahrenheit during summer and negative 76 degrees Fahrenheit during winter.
