It covers 143,100 square kilometers in land area and has a total population of more than 8 million people. 6) Turkmenistan with Ashgabat as its capital. It covers 488,100 square kilometers in land area and has a population of more than 5 million people. 7) Uzbekistan with Tashkent as its capital. It has a land area of 447,400 square kilometer and a total population of more than 30 million people.
