The five themes of geography are: movement of people, literacy, human systems, places and regions. To make this answer easier to understand, we will discuss each answer individually.
1. Movement of people refers to the movement of humans and Earth. This includes the goods which are manufactured, produced and sold by companies, our different ideas and culture, and what makes each of us connected with each other.
2. Literacy can be part of a location, place, movement, regions and the human systems. These affects the amount of literacy a person can have – whether he or she lives in an urban or rural area, how he or she interacts with people and how he or she can adapt to the demands of the environment and our society.
3. Human systems refer to how we adapt, modify, and depend on our environment.
4. Places refer to the physical characteristics of a particular place and our own human characteristics. This includes the land size, environmental situation of a place and the population.
5. Regions refer to the boundaries of a place. This includes cities, continents and provinces.
