There are four (4) regions in the United States in terms of Census Bureau-designated regions namely: the Northeast which consists of Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, the Midwest which consists of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota, the South which consists of Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland.
North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas, and the West which consists of Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington. If we are to follow the standard federal regions, the United States of America will have ten (10) regions from Regions I to X.
