There are twelve countries in Central Africa. These countries are as follows:
1. Angola which has an area of 1,246,700 square kilometers and a population of more than 19 million people;
2. Burundi which has an area of 27,834 square kilometers and a population of more than 11 million people;
3. Cameroon which has an area of 475,442 square kilometers and a population of more than 21 million people;
4. Central African Republic which has an area of 622,984 square kilometers and a population of more than 5 million people;
5. Chad which has an area of approximately 1,000,000 square kilometers and a population of more than 11 million people;
6. Democratic Republic of Congo which has an area of approximately 2,000,000 square kilometers and a population of more than 77 million people;
7. Republic of Congo with an area of 342,000 square kilometers and more than 4 million people;
8. Equatorial Guinea with an area of 28,051 square kilometers and more than 700 thousand people;
9. Gabon with an area of 267,668 square kilometers and more than 1 million people;
10. Rwanda with an area of 26,338 square kilometers and more than 11 million people;
11. Sao Tome and Principe with an area of 964 square kilometers and more than 180 thousand people; and
12. South Sudan with an area of 619,745 square kilometers and more than 12 million people.
