Pandas are very easily recognized by their large black patches over its eyes, ears and middle of their body. Giant pandas are native to China, although they can be found in some zoos around the world. Prior to 2016, the giant panda was on the endangered list, but panda numbers have been on the rise that has now removed them from the endangered list and now classify as “vulnerable”.
A full grown panda can weigh up to 350 pounds and measure around 4 to 6 feet long but are still able to climb trees. Although the diet of a panda consists mostly of eating bamboo, the panda has a digestive system of a carnivore.
