Sea lions and walruses are sea mammals that primarily feed on fish. Sea lions are recognizable by their external ear flaps while walruses do not have ear flaps. The walrus is equipped with a large pair of tusks that are elongated canines that are present in both the female and the male walruses.
These tusks measure up to a length of 3 feet 3 inches with the male tusks longer and thicker than female tusks, using them for fighting to establish dominance. Sea lions are smaller in size than the walrus and generally have a lesser aggression level than the walrus.
