WHO is known as the World Health Organization whose primary objective is to allow people to be as healthy as possible. As an agency that is committed to the health of all people in the world, it serves under the United Nations. When a health epidemic occurs anywhere in the world, the WHO is responsible for researching and finding possible solutions in order to keep the citizens located in that country safe as well as stopping the spread of the disease.
Instead of attempting to wipe out communicable diseases, the WHO’s goal is to maintain a healthy environment. To provide a strong healthy lifestyle for people in all parts of the world, the WHO follows policies and conducts procedures in third world countries where diseases are more prevalent.
