The planning phase of the formal review is the planning phase. In this phase, the review process begins with a request for review by the author to the moderator. A moderator has to take care of the scheduling like date, time, place, and invitation of the evaluation for the formal reviews that the moderator performs.
Then, there is the entry check and also defines the formal exit and criteria. You remain in this stage of the strategic management process until you embark on the next formal planning sessions.
