A sudden attack of unconsciousness or uncontrolled body movement is called seizures. It occurs when there is an abnormal electrical movement in a person’s brain. There are many types of seizures which can affect your behavior, have mild to severe symptoms, and some do not cause convulsions which may be generalized seizures which happens when the nerve cells on both of your brain misfires or focal seizures which happens when an electrical activity remains in just a limited part of your brain such as, but not limited to the following:
1. Tonic seizure where your body stiffens, jerks, or shakes;
2. Clonic seizure where you experience repetitive jerking movements;
3. Absence seizure where you experience a brief loss of consciousness; and
4. Myoclonic seizure where you experience isolated jerking movements
