9 through 10 months
The exact length of a human mother’s pregnancy varies, but most women are typically pregnant for a total of about 40 weeks, or roughly 9 to 10 months. This time is traditionally divided into three trimesters. In the first trimester, many women experience morning sickness, low energy levels, and changes in appetite. The second trimester is usually the most enjoyable trimester for women, as they are normally no longer suffering from nausea, and their child has not grown enough to cause discomfort.
In the third trimester, however, the majority of women experience a great amount of discomfort, including swelling of the feet and legs, back pain, breast tenderness, and a frequent need to urinate. They also usually find it difficult to sleep well at night, due to their large belly.
