What is the ratio of the length of a side of a square to its perimeter?

1:4 is the answer because the side length is two and the perimeter is 41, so since the length is two, you put 2 in length like =4 (2)=8 then two over 8 when you simplify it, you will get 1:4.

I think you are asking about finding the ratio of sides to perimeter in a square although your question is muddled. A ratio is a relationship between two numbers. It shows how many times the first number contains the second. In the case of a square, all four sides are equal.

The perimeter is the total of all four sides added together. The ratio of the perimeter to the side length is therefore 4s/s= 4 (four times one side length, divided by the side length)
