The earth is known as the blue planet because of C. 3/4 of the earth’s surface is covered with water. This explains why there are a lot of oceans, seas, lakes, and other bodies of water that can be explored here on earth. There are some areas that are bordered by land but most places are just nearby a body of water.
They are meant to be enjoyed but people should remember not to leave trash in the various bodies of water as it can be problematic for the earth. There are reports of some areas that are drying up and there are also some with increasing amount of water. These changes are due to the damages that have been done to the earth so far.
