Dilated cardiomyopathy can be associated with childbirth. There are some pregnant women who may develop cardiac dilation which can lead to heart failure and death during the last term of pregnancy and especially during childbirth. There are not enough pieces of evidence that will show why this occurs.
Some reports say that this may be caused by preexisting cardiomyopathy that was not apparent before pregnancy. Myocarditis is associated with other heart conditions but not with childbirth. Restrictive is a sign of constrictive pericarditis and is usually associated with other underlying heart conditions. It is best that women will get themselves checked often so that their condition can be monitored.
Dilated -although the cause isnt entirely known, cardiac dilation and heart failure may develop during the last month of pregnancy of the first few months after birth. The condition may result from a preexisting cardiomyopathy not apparent prior to pregnancy. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is an abnormal symmetry of the ventricles that has an unknown etiology but a strong familial tendency. myocarditis isn't specifically associated with childbirth. Restrictive cardiomyopathy indicates constrictive pericarditis; the underlying cause is usually myocardial.
