What is the maximum number of characters you can use if you are writing a message on twitter?

There was a time when the maximum number of characters that you can place when you use Twitter is 140. it seems that the application feels that whatever you have to say, you do not need to write a novel to express your mind. In the beginning, Twitter’s number of characters were similar to what you will get when you send a text which was 160 characters.

Then, it became the standard 140 characters. Right now, the number of characters has increased to 280. This may be a good idea as some people are still having trouble limiting the things that they have to say. Who knows, the number of characters may change again in the future.
