What else can I do to make the salt in my soup dissolve faster?<br/>

Another way would be to add less salt. This will not exactly speed up the process but shall make the process easier.

THINK: what would happen if the temperature is cold, would it still dissolve quickly?

Stir
Add heat

Both stirring and adding heat will help the salt dissolve faster. Letting it sit, the salt would eventually dissolve, but it would be slower. Adding more salt would only mean there is more salt to dissolve.
