Only a & b -it is important for everyone to take precautions to prevent the spread of the h1n1 flu virus. the simplest way is to practice good hand hygiene through regular washing or hand sanitizer use. avoid touching your mouth, nose or eyes if your hands are not washed. as well, proper cough or sneeze etiquette can help prevent the spread of the virus; this includes covering your mouth with a tissue or your elbow and washing your hands after coughing or sneezing. social distancing in the community of at least 2 metres prevents droplet spread between infected and healthy people. people experiencing influenza-like-illness are asked to isolate themselves from others when possible. viruses are able to survive for a period of time on environmental surfaces (ex. counters, phone receivers, doorknobs, etc.). since viruses can be transmitted from these surfaces, regular cleaning and disinfection is essential.
