In art, there are numerous types of lines. In art, a line is drawn with a pen, pencil, or other implements. Actual lines are marks or objects that are real lines, and they exist physically. Implied lines are those that are implied by the positions of shapes or objects. Actual lines are lines that are physically present in a design.
Suggested lines are fabricated when the artist lifts the pen or pencil from the paper, continuing its direction of travel, and then it applies pressure again, and it continues in the same direction. Lines are probably the most fundamental of all the elements of design.
