A paf should be filled out, term date should be entered, employee i-9 and supporting documentation should be moved to inactive binder with shred date.-when an employee is being terminated a branch administrator should follow term procedure and at that this time pull employees i-9 completed form /supporting documentation from active i-9/supporting documentation binders. the branch administrator should calculate the shred date for the i-9/supporting documentation and write on the back of page(s). this is the best time to write the shred date because the i-9 form has the hiring date on it and the term date is still fresh in branch administrators mind.
