Adware is software that automatically displays or downloads advertising contents – banners, and pop –ups when a user is running a program. It is displayed in pop – up windows, which usually open faster than a user can close them. Adware is mostly created for computers and mobile devices.
Adware is not a harmful virus that corrupts data, it does not send out sensitive information. It is not a malicious virus that gets into the computer by human errors. It is usually an unwanted advert that pops on the screen when running certain applications.
