Reflection is a part of science which can best be described as waves in which they have changed directions. The most common place to find this reflection is in mirrors or in a lake. In light, absorption is also known as electromagnetic radiation.

A transformation is created from electromagnetic energy to internal energy. Refraction is another type of light that interacts with certain things. If you ever have poured a tall glass of water into a tall clear glass, you may put a straw into the glass.

The straw will look broken. That is because of refraction. It appears like the straw has been cut into two. However, it has not. In this case, the same has occurred with the boy seeing the fish in one spot but it is actually in another position.
