Crocodiles cannot stick their tongues out and cannot chew. They have their tongues situated at the bottom of their mouth and they cannot really move it too well. While eating, if their prey is large, they bite and roll them to take out chunks of flesh and swallow the chunks in whole. If their prey is a small animal they swallow the whole animal in full.
Crocodiles are animals that people are very scared of. They should be. Getting too close to a crocodile could result in some deadly consequences. The main way that a crocodile kills its prey whether it be a human or other animal is by latching onto its prey and spin the prey into a death roll.
This means that the prey spins with the crocodile under water until the prey drowns. Many people who do not know the ways of a crocodile killing its prey, would assume that the crocodile uses its big sharp row of teeth to chew the prey to death.
However, crocodiles cannot chew, but they usually swallow things whole. Plus, they can’t stick their tongues out either.
