Trucks often appear to travel slower because of their large size
Trucks (otherwise known as lorry) are road vehicles that are designed for the purpose of carrying large cargos. These vehicles vary in sizes, configurations, and power (motor).
The smaller ones are similar to automobiles, while large commercial trucks are huge and powerful because they are configured to carry specialized equipment, like concrete mixers, suction excavators, or firefighting machinery and hose. Large modern trucks usually have a diesel engine, while the small ones are powered by gasoline engines. Some of the largest trucks can weigh between 350 to 500 tons.
