The vault is the main event and also an apparatus used by men and women in artistic gymnastics. The vault runaway is 82 feet long.
There are some basic vault drills like front handspring drill, Yurchenko preflight drill 1, basic landing drill, Yurchenko preflight drill 2, and there are other advanced vault drills like a postflight drill and of the vault drill.
It is also important to know how the vault is performed. The gymnast sprints down a narrow vault runway that is 82 meters long, launches a springboard, and then vault off a four-foot-high vaulting table. The judges evaluate the gymnast performance by checking how quick the gymnast spring off the table, the number of twists and flip of the vault and also the height and distance achieved.
