Scrum itself is a framework about developing software. A daily scrum refers to the meeting that takes place in regard to the framework. There are many different roles within Scrum including the product owner. This product owner speaks on behalf of the customers and stakeholders. Another role is the development team which does what it says.

It is a team of developers in regard to the software being developed. There are at most 9 members on this team and as few as three. The Scrum master removes anything not wanted in the product before delivery. He acts as a go-between, so to speak. The owner of the product should attend the daily meeting of a scrum in order to see the progress being made on the product.

The answer to this is D. It is to see the progress being made and determine whether the team needs help. Do remember that the whole Scrum team should attend especially if they want to finish all of their tasks at the soonest possible time. All of the members of the Scrum team have their own duties and responsibilities to finish.

The product owner is usually the person who will be in charge of asking whether the team has what it needs. If there are things that the items need in order to progress, the owner will be informed about it so that the needed item can be given immediately. The owner is also in charge of learning more about the other requirements of the team.
