The correct answer to this question is option C – Lift, thrust, drag and weight. The four forces that influence a flight include lift, thrust, drag, and weight. Lift represents the force that holds an aircraft in the air. Most of the lift used by an aircraft is created by the wind. Thrust represents the force that is needed to overcome the resistance of air. It is the force that moves the aircraft in the direction of motion.

Thrust is created by the propeller, it pulls in and the pushing air out in the opposite direction. Drag represents the force that acts in the opposite direction to the motion. It is caused by friction and the difference in air pressure. Weight is simply the force caused by gravity. These forces work against each other. Weight works opposite of lift and thrust works opposite of drag.
