Yes, it is true that the Seventh-day Adventist Church was adopted on May 21, 1863, inBattle Creek, Michigan, United States.

It is a Millennialist Protestant Christian denomination which believesthat the biblical Sabbath day should be observed on the seventh day of the week, i.e. Saturday.

The name was adopted at the session on September 28th - October 1st 1860
May 3rd 1861 the seventhday adventist publishing association was incorporated
21st May 1863 - establishment of General conference of Seventh day adventist
