Season occurs because the earth tilt on its axis which is relative to the orbital plane, this is the invisible and flat disc where most objects in the solar system orbits the sun.
The earth rotates around its axis which is an inviable line that pass through its center from pole to pole.
Seasons have an enormous influence on growth of plant and vegetation. Winter typically has a cold weather; little daylight and the summer is the warmer time of the year and most daylight and also plants thrive better in this season.
Around June, the northern hemisphere is tilted toward the sun, the sun ray hit it for a greater part of the day than in winter. This means there is more hours of daylight. In December, the northern hemisphere is tilted away from the sun.
The northern hemisphere is tilted away from the sun
When the northern hemisphere is tilted away from the sun, that means that the southern hemisphere is tilted toward the sun. When a hemisphere is tilted toward the sun, that means summer. OR When we have winter, they have summer.
