It is important when writing a research paper to do great research. To do that, websites may be researched, but not all websites are the same. Some are written by unknown authors or authors that are too young or not knowledgeable about the topic. If a website has an author, it can be used but it should be further analyzed to make sure the website information will be credible.

Look at the name of the author and the information given about the author. They should be an expert in the field. Also, look at the domain. If this is their own personal website, they may not be as credible. If there are errors or bias on the site, they may not have great information that can be trusted.

You should research the author, look at the domain, check the links, check for errors, look for bias, etc.
