Our body is made of complex tissues that work with each other to create complex systems which make us functional. The muscles allow our body to move, however, were it not for their attachment to the bones, we won’t be moving anywhere. So, how our muscles attached to bone? The answer is that the muscle fibers recede into a strip of fibrous tissue.

This is composed of elastic and collagen fibers. Now this muscle, ending a strip attaches to the bone, securing It., now when the muscle contracts, it will cause movements due to the lever action. These thin fibrous strips are called tendons.
