Anytime Garrett Morgan is mentioned, what usually comes to mind is his noble inventory skills. Garrett Morgan, who lived between (1877-1963) was the inventor of the gas mask and traffic lights. So, inventions such as traffic lights and gas mask actually made Garrett Morgan responsible.

These two inventions and many others were what brought him to the limelight. Garrett Morgan was the first person to produce a gas mask, and he received a patent for this life-saving invention in 1914. However, this invention was greatly applauded after two years when some workers suffered an explosion and got stuck inside a tunnel.

Garrett Morgan's gas mask saved the day because the gas mask really helped the rescue mission. His second popular invention was the traffic light. He received a patent for this in 1923. There is no doubt, the introduction of traffic lights has really helped in reducing cases of accidents on our roads and highways.
