The instructions that tell a computer what to do and how to do are the software. This is pretty much the equivalent of the instruction booklet that comes with any piece of furniture to put it together. If the computer follows them step by step, then nothing will go wrong. Everything will work correctly when a computer is able to read the software.
When the software is corrupted, then the computer may freeze, crash, or show the infamous “blue screen of death” that often means something is very wrong with a computer. When this happens, the vital instructions have not been completed, and that is not good. Corrupted software can also lead to other programs on the computer not working right before any of the above drastic measures happen.
