Mr Link Deas is the owner of Tom Robinson where Helen Robinson works. When he learnet that Helen was walking a mile out of her to get to work every day he was unhappy.

When Mr Link Deas learns that Helen Robinson is walking a mile out of her way to go work each day because of Bob Ewell, he walks her home that day, he stops by the Ewell’s home to tell Ewell to leave Helen alone and threatens to get him arrested he doesn’t stop.
