What points will you keep in mind if you are going to introduce Poetry in the class?

As compared to prose where the word order follows a strict grammatical sequence, in poetry the poets have the freedom of these patterns rather they stick to specific rhythem , poets use figure of speech for comparison or contrast etc metaphor and similie and certain terms which are uncommon in prose etc. different types are there as epic , lyric, elygy, balad etc

I. Difference between poetry and prose will be explained. ii. Special attention will be paid to stress and intonation. iii. Figures of speech will be introduced as well as explained. iv. Paraphrasing and reference to context pattern will be explained.
