Margaret Eleanor Atwood happens to be a Canadian poet, literary critic, teacher, inventor, novelist, essayist, and environmental activist. She was given birth to on the 18th November 1939 and has started publishing books since 1961.
Her published works include 18 books of poetry, 11 books of non-fiction, 8 children's books, 2 graphic novels, 18 novels, and 9 collections of short fiction. That is not the end though; she also wrote some short press editions of both fiction and poetry.
Margaret has a lot of awards, as well as honors, in her wardrobe just because of these her writings. These include two times Brooker prize, governor general's award, princess of Asturias award, Arthur C. Clarke award, Franz Kafka Prize, and lifetime achievement awards from the USA's National Book Critics and PEN Center.
