The correct answer to the question is BISMARCK
The capital of North Dakota is Bismarck. Bismarck is located in Burleigh County. Bismarck was founded on May 14, 1872. It was named after a German chancellor “Otto von Bismarck” of Northern Pacific Railway during this period.

Bismarck was first known as “Swinton” when it was named after the engineer who led the construction of the Northern Pacific Railway. Bismarck became the capital of Dakota in the year 1883. In 1889, it officially became the capital of North Dakota.

Bismarck is home to over 200,000 people. In 2017, it was ranked by Forbes magazines as the seventh fastest-growing city in the United States of America.

Bismarck is the capital of North Dakota which is one of the fifty states in the United States of America. Bismarck is the second-most populous city in North Dakota, the first being Fargo. Bismarck was discovered in 1872 by European Americans who settled in the region. It was first named “Swinton.” It was named after Edwin Ferry Johnson who was the engineer in chief for the construction of the Northern Pacific Railway.

This construction made the city an attraction for many settlers and workers. In 1873, the city was renamed as Bismarck in honor of Otto von Bismarck who was the German chancellor of Northern Pacific Railway at the time. Bismarck became the capital of Dakota in 1883, and in the year 1889, it became the capital of North Dakota.
