While technology helps speed up the evaluation process, technology has not created a more precise way to measure intelligence. While EQ (Emotional Intelligence) has gained popularity and validity, it has not replaced IQ tests because it does not yet have a validated test or scale. When studying the Foundations of Education, you learn that the concept of intelligence has changed since the late nineteenth century.

At that time, scientists actually evaluated intelligence on physical characteristics and movements. Scientists in the last three decades have argued that there are seven distinct intelligences that can be evaluated.
