What did the ability to acquire food on a regular basis mean?

This has made people forget about their nomad way of living. There was a time when people would need to move from one place to another just to get the food that they need. They would need to cut down trees in order to make shelter and to make their items based on what they can get from their surroundings.

When food became readily available, people have decided that they do not need to move around anymore. They can just stay in one place and build their home there. This explains why people now live in actual homes and some of them do not move as long as it would be beneficial for them to stay in one place.
